Moore Park Contemporary Retreat

This small backyard had many challenges; re-work the site grading to gain enough space to create a garden oasis with ample space for relaxation and entertainment and integrate a storage shed with enough useful pace without over powering the garden.

The lounge section was large enough to provide two spaces, for dining and relaxing with a firepit to extend the season and to provide a focal point for warmth and conversation.

The front yard required careful management of existing slopes and the preservation of a mature Mulberry tree which despite its unruly form provides a wonderful habitat for countless songbirds which made it an essential feature to be retained at all costs.
