A tired old traditional front porch and house facade were transformed by adding some sleek utility in the form of a new Corten steel retaining wall and steps along with a new porch and cloakroom enclosure.
The house brick was stained a uniform cool grey and the roof, soffit and fascia were all updated withnew Cedar siding and a porch roof warming up the entire front of the home.Read More
We have made lots progress here in Newmarket with this new in-ground pool and new Cabana.
The Cabana was designed and built to match the house addition and all aspects from the windows to the roof line and siding were perfectly coordinated. A new pergola and sunken flagstone terrace will provide a comfortable, private lounge area right next to the new sundeck.Read More
The existing deck was a large park of this compact Rosedale yard, but it required more shade and privacy to be a comfortable lounge space. A modern cedar pergola created a warm, room-like space, and defined the edges of the deck, providing a sense of separation from the adjacent yards.Read More
As you can see in these before and after shots, a narrow deck and railing cut this Hillcrest home off from the existing pool and lounge space. A minimal deck, without a railing, connected the two spaces, while a new cabana cleanly added storage space and concealed the air conditioning unit.Read More

Five interconnected spaces to serve the entire family creating a rejuvenated backyard.
We had to create an economical way to give this walk out a face lift that masked the A/C and its unsightly utility lines as well flow with the existing modern deck.
These are our conceptual designs for a fun, warm and inviting temporary installation along the Woodbine beaches that cleverly clad the existing life guard stands during the winter months.
We thought we would create a friendly little handout to give to our clients once we had completed a project to help them troubleshot the initial aspects of landscape maintenance especially the little things that can make a big difference in the fall and winter.
We thought it turned out pretty well so we are happy to make it available to all who may want it.

We earned a Silver medal to go with our Gold medal from 2010 at the Gardening World Cup .
